The 39th annual meeting of the Japanese Society for Plant Biotechnology will be held from September 11th to 13th, 2022 at Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU) in Sakai, Osaka

Access / Accommodation / Banquet

Nursery

We plan to set up a temporal nursery or introduce temporary childcare services. Users will be charged 3,000 yen per half-day and 5,000 yen per full day per child. If you wish to use the nursery, please send your request to the E-mail address below by the deadline of application for presentation. The subject of the E-mail should be “Nursery Request”.

Access

The venue at OMU Nakamozu campus is about a 15-min walk from Nakamozu Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line or Nankai Koya Line, and about a 10-min walk from Shirasagi Station on the Nankai Koya Line.
It is 20-min from Sakai Station on the Nankai Line (Airport Line) by walk and Nankai Bus.

Accommodation

Please reserve accommodation by yourself. There are no accommodations near OMU Nakamozu Campus. There are several accommodations in the vicinity of the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line (Tennoji Station, Namba Station, etc.), Sakaihigashi Station on Nankai Koya Line, and Sakai Station on Nankai Line (Airport Line) (close to Hotel Agora Regency Osaka Sakai, where the banquet is scheduled).

Banquet

The banquet at Hotel Agora Regency Osaka Sakai has been canceled. Instead, a brief reception with free soft drinks will be held at OMU Nakamozu campus on Sep. 12^th (Mon.) after Society Award Lectures. Pre-registration is not required for reception.
